Sturgeon moon on Aug 9

The upcoming full moon will be in Aquarius and it calls in some powerful energies! In the weeks leading up to it you may find a crescendo of energy in your life as it moves into focus. These are the impacts you may notice:

· A new emphasis on introspection and realigning with your life goals

· A desire to reach out to the community for support on your journey

· An acceptance of changes you want to make

Reflection

As a devout skeptic, I always have doubts about the readings of astrology. However, I can tell you that I have spent this entire lunar cycle reflecting on my personal goals and desires. My July timeline was dominated by the full moon in Capricorn and now I see the full moon in Aquarius energy filling my life. I accept myself for constantly feeling that the astrology is “probably malarky” while also recognizing how my life is fitting right into the patterns it prescribes. That is the true beauty of something like astrology, even if we choose to not believe and choose to ignore, we can still find the patterns of its impact if we look.

Personal commitment

I have been stuck for a while now and I am ready to move into a new era. This next phase for me is heavily focused on personal development. There are many things I long to explore and I have put aside for far too long. Here are my goals for the remainder of 2025:

· Learn to play the didgeridoo

· Read 3 books

o Warrior, King, Magician, Lover: Rediscovering the Archetypes of the Mature Masculine

o Journey of Souls

o TBD

· Complete at least 15 lessons in my metaphysics program (returning to a track of becoming an ordained minister)

These commitments are important to me because they represent my spiritual development. Playing the didgeridoo is about reconnecting with myself and finding presence in my body. Exploring the masculine archetypes and journey of souls gives me important knowledge for the path ahead. Coming back into my metaphysics program continues my journey to become an ordained minister and spiritual leader. Some of you may not know but I was enrolled in two ministerial programs and had some bad blood with one of them earlier this year.

I commit before all of you to these goals for this year and I welcome you to support me in staying true to them.

Iron sharpens iron

If anyone here is interested in personal development accountability, I would welcome the creation of a group. Each of us could outline our specific goals and explain why they are important to us. We could have regular check-ins to discuss work towards our goals and hold each other accountable to the plans we create. Please reach out to me and we can develop a program that works for the consensus. I think biweekly check-ins over text would be incredibly powerful for me.

Additionally, if the books I mentioned are interesting to you, please treat this as an invitation to share this journey with me. I remain open to discussing the books and even having an ongoing book club.
